Select an icon that makes sense for the data it represents. For example, use a coin for sales figures or a person for the number of users.
Use simple and easily understood icons. If they’re too detailed or busy, they may distract your audience.
Pictographs can also illustrate the status of a project or the average user rating of a product, not just display statistics.
Use a darker shade of one color for the highlighted percentage and a lighter shade for the remaining icons. Avoid contrasting colors, as they can be distracting.
